Installation support services assist customers during equipment delivery, rigging, placement, connection, and startup, ensuring fabricated equipment successfully integrates into facilities and operates as intended. Support ranges from technical guidance to hands-on installation assistance.
Support services may include installation planning and procedure development, rigging and lifting plan preparation, installation supervision and technical assistance, alignment and fit-up verification, field welding and modification support, testing and commissioning assistance, and startup troubleshooting and optimization.
For complex equipment—large vessels, multi-component skids, integrated systems—fabricator involvement during installation prevents problems. Fabricators understand equipment details, design intent, and potential issues, providing knowledge field crews may lack. Early problem identification prevents costly delays and rework.
Installation support ensures equipment arrives site-ready with proper preservation, rigging attachments, and documentation. Clear installation drawings, procedures, and specifications prevent confusion. Technical resources available during installation answer questions and solve problems quickly.
